Mindy is a multidisciplinary creative with a rich background in interior architecture, art direction, and production. With over a decade of experience, she seamlessly blends design sensibility with logistical precision—bringing ideas to life across a wide range of creative mediums.
Mindy held interior designer roles at several respected design studios including Crush Studio, Revolve Design–Build, and d+k. Her design work spans from immersive brand experiences and event installations to high-end residential and commercial projects. Known for her collaborative spirit and technical expertise, she thrives in environments where creativity and operations intersect.
A proud alumna of the Savannah College of Art and Design with a degree in Interior Design, Mindy is NCIDQ licensed and LEED Certified. She approaches each client’s project with curiosity, clarity, and a drive to create work that is both meaningful and memorable, and brings both rigor and artistry to every curated space. When not designing, Mindy serves as an Art Director and Producer at Dowell & Co., a Fayetteville-based photography and creative studio, where she plays a pivotal role in shaping visual campaigns.
Elizabeth Thiessen
INTERIOR DESIGNER
Elizabeth is an accomplished Interior Designer with over a decade of experience transforming residential and commercial spaces into stunning, functional environments. Known for her refined eye for color, texture, and proportion, Elizabeth brings a unique blend of creativity and technical expertise to every project she leads.
Her design career spans high-profile positions and entrepreneurial ventures—from assisting Amy Morris with award-winning projects featured in Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles and Veranda Magazine, to running her own design and jewelry business.
Elizabeth is a graduate of Brenau University with a BFA in Interior Design. Her hands-on leadership style and collaborative approach consistently deliver innovative, timeless interiors tailored to each client’s lifestyle.
When she’s not designing beautiful interiors, Elizabeth can be found exploring artisanal craftsmanship or creating bespoke jewelry, always finding inspiration in the details that make a space—or a statement piece—truly personal.
Susan Matheis
INTERIOR DESIGNER
Susan is a seasoned interior designer and business owner with significant experience crafting beautiful, functional spaces—and building successful design businesses. With a background and degrees in both business and design, she brings a uniquely strategic lens to the creative process, balancing aesthetics with efficiency, budget, and long-term livability.

For many years, Susan ran her own interior design firm in Overland Park, Kansas, serving a loyal client base with custom residential solutions. In a pioneering move, she co-founded a collaborative interior design studio—bringing together four independent designers to share a showroom, pool resources, and strengthen buying power. The concept was so successful it was featured on the Behind the Design podcast.

Certified in Aging in Place and a former ASID member, Susan’s work has earned multiple design awards. She’s a regular at industry markets including High Point, Las Vegas, KBIS, and Atlanta—staying sharp, current, and deeply connected to the design community.

In 2020, Susan sold her business and relocated to the Peachtree City area to be closer to her grandchildren. Now part of the Palmer Kay team, she continues to bring wisdom, creativity, and a generous spirit to every project she touches.
